no need to hide your true feelings man - let 'em out!
you can see how the game controls by looking at the gameplay videos. Looks pretty solid to me so far with lots of fluid animation and idle/active situational movements. Game seems to respond quickly. Scroll speed seems relatively tight (about the same as CoD4). Of course we haven't seen more complex gameplay mechanics yet, but judging from early videos, I'm willing to give it a pass if it Guerilla doesn't show more at GDC. Of course, I would love to see more, but it's not 100% necessary ...
2008's CoD4 (or Bioshock) anyone?
well mostly... If it wasn't for CoD4, this would have been my GotY. Of course, I'm a big fan of the SMT series (still haven't played Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army though). Can't wait for the next Persona (wasn't it announced for PS3 a while ago?).
and so addictive (getting new personas all of which are based off of "real life" mythology in true SMT fashion). Buy this game - you will not be disappointed.
you won't regret it
one of the overlooked gems of early 2008
Patapon PSP GOTY?
this game sells a lot
you import it from the US if you're fluent in English (PS3 games are region-free)!
can't wait to play it
I mean the main similarity is the art style, but you can't even compare those because Loco Roco's more a psychadelic weird-fest while Patapon is a 300-inspired war march.
It's like saying the Unreal-powered RPG Last Remnant (by SquareEnix) and Gears of War are similar.
bought it yesterday and am pleasantly surprised with how fun and addictive it is
PixelJunkMonsters (DMC 4 too) when I get home. Reminds me of mass tower building in Warcraft 2!
Great Oasis songs too! Wish I had Guitar Hero.
Just import the US version of Disgaea 3 since it's bound to come out here (has a cult following and rightfully so). Like you said, it's gonna be a great game. I loved Disgaea 1 + 2 (and Makai Kingdom) on the PS2.
I'm definetely downloading this
why the heck isn't Treasure developing some next-gen games for us?
8, 8, 8, 8 - sounds good to me. All those NIS games are life-killers.
especially for $19.99 (although I'd buy it for $39.99 to be honest)
but the pauses in the fighting to allow for different camera shots (after big attacks) could be detrimental to gameplay.
